SIMBA accepts a limited number of " Special Exchange Students ", i.e., students who are not enrolled in any of the Programmes belonging to the ENPC MBA global Network. There are three categories of "special exchange"

 

1. Students from a recognized MBA Programme (other than the ENPC MBA Global Network) wishing to take a certain number of credits at SIMBA for the completion of their degree. The number of maximum credits authorized in such case is defined by the "home MBA Programme" of such student but a minimum of 3credits is imposed by SIMBA.

 

The full transcript of credits obtained at SIMBA will be sent directly to the student's original MBA Programme.

Cost per Module - 1,000 USD.     

 

2. Students of recognized Higher Education Institutes specialized in Management and/or Commerce and/or Business even if they take another degree than an MBA in such an institute and who wish to take a certain number of credits at SIMBA towards the completion of their degree at their "home institute".

 

The number of maximum credits authorized in such case is defined by the "home University/Institute" of such student but a minimum of 3 credits is imposed by SIMBA.

 

The full transcript of credits obtained at SIMBA will be sent directly to the student's original University.

Cost per Module - 1,000 USD.

 

3. Graduates of such MBA Programmes or Higher Institutes wishing to take a certain number of Modules at SIMBA for their own benefit.

 

The number of credits authorized is limited to either 5 or 10 Modules. A full transcript will be provided by SIMBA, but no certificate or diploma could be delivered.

Cost: for 5 Modules - total of 5,000 USD, for 10 Modules - total of 9,000 USD.

 

Academic year at SIMBA starts in September of every year.

 

Applications for Special Exchange Programme are dealt with:

 

From September through February for an exchange period lasting between March and August of the same academic year;

 

From March through August for an exchange period from September to March of following academic year or for the full following academic year.

 

The Application Procedure is the same for all three categories and is a two-step procedure -

i. a full Application file is to be sent to SIMBA office in Shanghai at least 4 months in advance of the exchange period chosen

ii. An interview with the International Dean

 

A deposit in the amount of 10% of the total tuition fees is to be paid upon admission to confirm registration.

 

The rest is to be paid at the latest 30 days before the beginning of the first Module you were registered to.

 

These amounts will only be refundable if cancellation of the Exchange period takes place up to 30 days before the beginning of the first exchange Module in SIMBA.
